Modules

Each module starts with a free intro. Lessons, worked examples and worksheets are member-only.

  • Member preview

    1. Measure yourself

Height, wrist-to-floor, hand and finger length, and your current specs, recorded the same way every time.

Locked: Measurement worksheet and step-by-step photos.

  • Member preview

    2. Static vs dynamic fitting

What a tape measure can tell you, what only impact can, and how to combine the two.

Locked: Worked static-to-dynamic example from my own clubs.

  • Member preview

    3. Length and lie

Find the length that centres your strike, then check lie with impact marks rather than charts.

Locked: Strike-pattern and lie-check procedure, with decision table.

  • Member preview

    4. Loft and gapping

Build your yardage ladder, find the holes and overlaps, and decide which lofts to change.

Locked: Gapping worksheet built from my own 12-club model.

  • Member preview

    5. Grip size

Measure, pick a size, and fine-tune with tape layers.

Locked: Sizing table and build-up guide.

  • Member preview

    6. Shaft: weight, flex, profile, torque

The order I choose shaft specs, and how to test two shafts fairly.

Locked: Shaft test protocol with my October 2024 seven-iron test as the example.

    7. Swing weight and MOI

Measure what you have, then match a set by swing weight or by MOI.

Locked: Matching worksheet and my MOI build table.

  • Member preview

    8. Head selection

Forgiveness, centre of gravity and look, judged by numbers on mishits as well as flushes.

    Locked: Head comparison checklist.

  • Member preview

    9. Reading your launch monitor

Which numbers to trust, how many shots you need, and how to clean a session.

Locked: My cleaning rules as a reusable template.

    10. Build and adjust checklist

Bending lofts and lies, cutting and tipping, swing weighting and checking the finished club.

Locked: Printable build checklist and spec sheet.

Free intro: why fit your own clubs at all?

Most of the gains in a fitting come from a few specs: length that centres the strike, lie that keeps the face square at impact, lofts that space your distances evenly, and a shaft weight you can time. You can check all four yourself with a few measurements, some impact tape and an honest look at your numbers. The course shows how, using my own clubs as the running example. Start with Fitting parameters, which is free.
